Glass recycling plant has been started
On the 19th of December in city Novomoskovsk of Dnepropetrovsk region there was started the first glass recycling plant in Ukraine and all countries of CIS. This investment project has been realized by Concern "SouzEnergo" and CJSC "Utility"
Nowadays CJSC Utility has the leading positions in the market of secondary processing of glass, with market share over 60 %. Collecting volumes of glass allow us to meet the requirements of the Ukrainian and foreign glass factories.
At this plant process of glass recycling is completely closed cycle which does not create any air pollutions or by-products. It involves glass collecting, its cleaning and following new glass production.
At the plant there is implemented one of the most progressive product making technologies: sorting of broken glass into colors. This project assumes cullet cleaning to the degree which meets demands of leading European and world glass making companies. The enterprise can recycle to 10000 tons of glass monthly. Application of new technologies will allow CJSC "Utility" to increase considerably usage level of cullet in furnace charge, and accordingly to raise recirculation level of glass.
Specially important the start up of the plant is now during economic crisis. While many other enterprises are reducing the staff, the plant of company "Utility" will give solid salary for more then 70 persons.
